Roadmap
What's live in Olive, what is building next, and what remains research.
Olive's promise is defined risk, on-chain: you pay a fixed amount, you can never lose more than it, settlement happens at maturity, and there is no Olive liquidation engine. The roadmap extends that promise across more markets, more makers, and more of the trade lifecycle.
How to read this. Live means working in the app today. Building means in progress. Exploring means research that may change or never ship. Nothing here is a commitment or investment advice.
Live now
- Asset-first ticket builder: market, Call or Put, USDC amount, strike slider, tenor, payoff chart, and model-indicative outcome, breakeven, exposure, and decay metrics.
- Firm RFQ against approved makers over the Solana maker WebSocket, with signed Ed25519 quotes re-verified on-chain at execution.
- Long Call settling in the market's underlying token and Long Put settling in canonical USDC, with on-chain prefunding or admin-set maker credit, isolated maturity buckets, funding deadlines, and default/cure handling.
- Pyth Benchmarks settlement recorded into an immutable per-expiry account, with permissionless keeper-driven redemption.
- Portfolio with open and past positions, marks, funding status, maker-quoted early exit, and settlement actions.
- Privy accounts with an embedded Solana wallet, external wallet linking, key export, and Olive-sponsored network fees and rent.
Building next
- Enabling both products across every configured market, and widening the expiry ladder beyond the current short-dated set.
- Additional makers on the v1 WebSocket beyond the current integration.
- Converting a Long Call payout to another token at redemption, instead of leaving that swap to the holder.
- Smoother roll and exit workflows that restate the ticket and require explicit approval before any new trade.
- The path from devnet to a production deployment: governed program upgrade custody, mainnet assets, and audited release evidence.
Exploring
- Position-aware protection tied to leveraged positions held elsewhere, while being explicit that Olive does not move another venue's liquidation price.
- More tradable payoff designs that preserve the core promise: defined risk, explicit funding status, European settlement, and no margin-call engine.
What never changes
- Defined outcome. Payoff, worst case, maturity, and collateral are fixed at acceptance.
- European. Settlement happens at maturity only, unless you accept a maker buyback quote.
- Explicit funding. Maker credit, prefunding, funding deadlines, default, and cure stay visible, and settlement requires the bucket to be fully funded.
- Non-custodial. Positions are owned by your Solana key, and Olive cannot move them without your signature.
